The unique Hong Kong style 'village house' type is highly restrictive in terms of design due to its stringent regulations limiting the exact height, coordinates, orientation, subdivisions of floors, balcony sizes, and protrusions. What's left to imagination is surface treatments and internal layouts. A flexible system of 'furniture partitioning' is proposed for this house while the client opted for the stylistic Roman Column exterior, eventually turning it into an automatic design/build job for the contractor who has been building the same houses everywhere.
