[Border-Less]
This installation explores the themes presented by the four videos shown at the Venice Biennale 2014 in Italy about borders, edges, and boundaries.
How do you make a wall or a border that marks a demarcation or a boundary while allowing permeability with the effort of the individuals? The issues of privacy, transparency, and the materiality of a physical wall are made ambiguous through the deliberate intention to make the construct as light and immaterial as possible. Metal conduits were bent to create the structural frames while rubberbands were stretched to strategic locations to allow penetration and define the four different zones for the viewing of the videos.
